Chrysler looking to get closer to customers online

Car maker recruiting customers for advisory and feedback panel

US-- Car manufacturer Chrysler is to launch an online advisory panel to gain feedback on the company’s vehicle features, product development and marketing. The panel, called the Customer Advisory Board, will encourage users to engage in feedback once or twice a week once it goes online in April.

Deborah Meyer, vice president and chief of marketing at Chrysler LLC, said: “The launch of the Customer Advisory Board gives us a new way to connect with our customers and to be even more responsive and innovative.”

Panel members, according to Chrysler, will be able to “submit ideas for future products, make current product suggestions or just tell us what would make us a better company.”Chrysler’s digital interactive agency, Organic, and customer collaboration specialist Passenger have worked with the car giant to design the panel.

Passenger will use a combination of online social networking and community platforms for users of the service and will provide Chrysler with analytical technologies to evaluate responses and findings.
